Our Mission Statement

Pick and choose from several options to create your own Professional Development Experience, which develops “the whole educator.” We believe education should not have a one-size fits all approach, and by allowing for stations-based professional development, more educators can be included in the growth process of the school as a whole. It is our team's goal to assist as many schools as possible to build on previous professional development sessions and continue to make necessary improvements to move forward.

Meet Our Founder

John Matula is currently the Founder of Peak-Ed. Peak-Ed delivers Professional Development to schools and has created PD: The Experience, a stations-based, hybrid professional development event that focuses on engagement, personalization and develops the “whole teacher.”

In John’s previous roles, he has consulted for a network of over a hundred private schools, a dozen charter schools and achieved the National Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence as a leader in a high-performing, low-income charter school in the Bronx, NY.

John’s goal is to “change the narrative” on Professional Development and introduce a new format that is engaging, personalized, and equitable.
